Griswold Cooperative Telephone Company is an equal access company. Customers have their choice of long distance carriers.

Changes in long distance carriers can be made by contacting the carrier directly or by contacting the Griswold Cooperative Telephone Company. All carrier change requests received by the Griswold Cooperative Telephone Company must be implemented.

A Preferred Carrier Freeze prevents any unauthorized changes to a subscriber's long distance carrier and any associated charges, without subscriber consent. It is the Telephone Company's recommendation that customers subscribe to this free service.
